“My background as a musician inspired my path to being an audiologist. I’ve played the saxophone for almost 20 years. In my free time, I enjoy jamming with friends at local venues and at home.”

Commitment to Excellence

“I was introduced to audiology in my high school anatomy and physiology class. I found myself particularly fascinated by psychoacoustics, which is the study of sound perception. I wanted to understand why things sounded the way they did, and the interaction of factors that influence a listener’s subjective perception of the quality of a sound. I love being an audiologist because I get to apply a synergy of audiologic and musical concepts to help improve the functionality and quality of people’s hearing.”
