“For years I watched as my father-in-law struggle to hear conversations. I saw our family become increasingly frustrated with him due to his hearing loss and his unwillingness to do anything about it. Finally, we were able to convince him to let me test his hearing and have him try a pair of hearing aids. He was amazed hearing all of the sounds that he had been missing but he was also sad thinking about those important moments he had missed because he could not hear. We were all happy that he was able to participate in the family conversations again and I was proud to have helped make it happen.”
